Welcome to Carter Equine Productions!

As an avid horse enthusiast, it was my dream to incorporate horses into both the professional and personal aspects of my life.  I began my equine journey late in life and became a first-time horse owner in my mid-30s when we acquired 3 beautiful Arabian mares.  A few years later we added some Quarter Horses to our herd.  As most first-time horse owners, I needed lots of information and training, which brought me to my trainer and mentor, Christi Rains, a Licensed 3-Star Parelli Instructor, in Glen Rose, Texas.  Thus began my career as an amateur photographer and videographer of her 3-day horsemanship clinics and the creation of Carter Equine Productions.  I have since expanded the business to include photographing local equine events, shooting and producing promotional video material for local area horse breeders, and breeding purebred Arabian horses.  I strive to capture the candid view of the events I film and emphasize on the horse/human relationship, as well as providing education materials for trainers.
